What Items Can't a Junk Removal Company Take in Baltimore?

• Asbestos or suspected asbestos-containing material
• Pressurized hazardous containers, oil drums and storage tanks
• Concrete, large quantities of dirt or rocks
• Asphalt roofing shingles and other restricted waste

These exclusions help protect workers, properties, equipment and the environment. Do not mix hazardous items into an ordinary junk pile, and do not open or disturb potentially asbestos-containing material.

What about appliances?

Many household appliances can be considered for removal. However, refrigerators and freezers require special care because they contain refrigerants, and commercial disposal options can be limited. Please contact us before assuming we can haul one away.

How should I prepare my pickup?

Group accepted household junk separately from liquids, chemicals and prohibited construction materials. Keep labels visible and send photos or a written inventory if you're unsure about an item. We can explain what we can accept, but we do not provide hazardous-waste disposal.

Where can restricted items go?

Your local city or county waste program may offer specialized collection or drop-off options for certain materials. Check the appropriate program's current rules and eligibility before traveling, especially if the waste came from a commercial job.
